For the first time on 17.05.2015 we ran long barrel seminar. With 22 students who had shown up, we knew this was going to be a great event. Starting with repetition of hard front break falls to ensure that everyone was going to stay safe and injury free, we got straight to business with take-downs – first from the back and then using rubber AK-47s. It was awesome watching you fly onto crash mats. Before long we were onto learning how to deal with front long barrel threats and hostage situations.
When you have fun, time flies. It was impressive to see how well you progressed within the 4 hour session. You all applied new information effectively and worked well together. Most importantly, you all stayed safe and injury-free (despite the minor bruises and scratches). We would have loved to have shown you more and look forward to running further long barrel seminars next year to develop your new-found skills.
